Five things to consider before a SEO engagement

 

  1. As a general rule of thumb, think of it as each page of your website can be optimized for a maximum of 1-3 keywords and their permutations. As such, if your website is less than 10 pages, an SEO service subscription may not make sense to you.
  2. We will recommend on-site optimization and may even require some technical tweaks. You need to have access or work with a partner who can manage content, edit tags, add image alts and similar.
  3. Assurances of performance does not mean a guarantee on keyword rankings. No agency in the world can guarantee a specific keyword ranking, in fact Google recommends that you be wary of agencies that do.
  1. To monitor performance, implementing Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster, Google Analytics and other such tracking tools is mandatory. We can support the process, but you should have ownership of your website or platform to enable implementation.
  2. SEO is not immediate. If you have a flash sale this weekend, SEO may not be the best option for online visibility. Each digital channel is suitable for different things. SEO is an incremental process. We provide complete visibility, clear indicators of success and the option to terminate without any hidden fees or long term contracts.
How do you sign-up?
  1. Send us an enquiry with your preferred package or request a call for a custom quote.
  2. Upon confirmation, a monthly subscription contract is provided and billing starts from the date of sign-up.
  3. If a custom quote is requested, a proposal is submitted based on an initial exploratory call.
  4. Subscription payments are done via credit card. The monthly invoice is emailed with a payment link. A seven day credit period is provided for invoice settlement.
  5. Custom quotes above USD 500 per month can be made via wire transfer as well. A seven day credit period is provided for invoice settlement.
How does your subscription work?
  • First Month – Define SEO KPIs at the point of sign-up.
  • First Month – SEO Audit completion and recommendations submission.
  • Second Month – SEO Setup completion with finalized keyword strategy, page mapping, analytics setup and search engine account setup. SEO related website updates such as optimized content uploads are to be managed by the website owner / manager.
  • Third Month Onwards – Monthly Performance monitoring, keyword ranking monitoring, strategy adjustments, recommendations and KPI review.
How do you monitor performance?

KPIs are confirmed at sign-up. Typical KPIs for SEO are:

  • Keyword rankings monitored via placements on search engine results pages
  • Growth in organic website traffic
  • Performance of organic website traffic – measured via time on site, bounce rate and pages consumed per session, compared against the site average / other traffic channels.

A monthly review of performance and recommendations are provided.

How does correspondence and support work?
  • All subscription / engagement models include email support. A unique customer ID is issued to you for correspondence in relation to your project.
  • A typical support request is addressed within one business day, excluding weekends and public holidays.
  • A monthly performance report is emailed by the 5th of every following month. A one hour call with one of our SEO specialists is requested, to review monthly progress with you.
How do you terminate a subscription?
  1. The subscription can be terminated at any time via email notification.
  2. If the service is cancelled within the first 7 days of the month, the monthly subscription fee will be waived off. If terminated after the 7th of a given month, the full subscription fee for that month will apply.
  3. Admin access to Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Search Console and similar platforms used will be with Watch This Space Agency. Viewer access is provided to you. If a subscription is terminated and all dues are settled, admin access will be transferred to you.
